JE Releases A New Group![?]

If you didn't already know, Johnny Kitagawa is planning on releasing a new group.

Johnny Junior group B.I. Shadow will now debut as:

中山優馬with B.I. shadow [Nakayama Yuma with B.I. Shadow]

Winner of School Kakumei auditions Yuugo will replace former B.I. Shadow member Takahata Misaki. And their debut song will be used for Nakayama Yuma's upcoming drama where he plays a vampire.

I understand that many fans will be pissed off and shocked by the news. First of all:

Why replace Misaki!?

I really don't know. Personally I thought Misaki was quite a good choice for the group. He seemed to be the calmer one who balanced the group out. But Johnny's has been known to take out liked juniors out of groups before debut before and they've always come out on top. So I won't go against his decision unless the group doesn't live up to their seniors.

Second:

Yuugo!? Why so quick!?

I actually question this myself. As other JE Juniors get years of training Yuugo with barely months of trainings is already on the entrance of debut. I can't really tell if this is a smart move or not. It'll all depend on how their first performance goes and sees if Yuugo can live up to the challenge.

Third:

What is up with the name!?

I know! Seriously Johnny couldn't come up with a decent name? I would've been fine with leaving it as B.I. Shadow [I thought that was a cool name]. But apparently adding the person starring in a drama's name is more important than all the other members. But at least their stuff will be easy to search for online.

It's been a year and 8 months since previous debut group Hey! Say! JUMP debuted with an average age of 15. 中山優馬with B.I. shadow will debut in June 2009 with an average age of 14.4 With the younger generations, fangirls are obviously in high anticipation. [As most of the senior groups are already in their 20's]
