Jasmine Will Be Bigger Than Any Other Artist

She's often referred to as the next Utada Hikaru, but not much else is known about her. The nationwide media has shown barely a glimpse of young singer Jasmine (20), but her single "Sad to Say" has already topped the digital download charts. It's being reported as the first time an artist has reached No.1 on the charts before making their official debut, which Jasmine did a week later on June 24. The song hasn't even benefited from a TV commercial tie up, and its success has been mostly through online viral marketing and the comparisons with Utada. She also wrote her own songs from the start and did all her pre-debut promotions only on the radio. Jasmine says she considers Utada a big influence but was first inspired to become a singer at the age of 13 after seeing a gospel choir perform at the US military base in Yokota. She dropped out of high school in the tenth grade and passed an audition with Sony Music a year later. She has since performed in clubs and appears every Thursday on the J-Wave radio station. No doubt we'll be hearing a lot more from this young singer.

It's not just the way she looks that is getting attention. (Though it did make me think, Lady Gaga)? The song is just pure talent. I really love her voice! She's definately become a new idol for me! (Although is it ironic that I just finished Sophmore year)? She undoubtedly has the talent and rhythm to reach the top (as she already has) but how long can she hold onto the popularity (of being a newcomer)? Personally, her voice really does remind me of that of Utada Hikaru. Wouldn't it be awesome if they did a duet together? Two amazing voices in one performance! (Let's hope!)

Genie Isn't Just A Last THREE Letter Change At The End Of Gee

It's also selling 3 times faster!

It is said that So Nyeo Shi Dae’s new song ‘Tell me Your Wish’ is faster selling as compared to their previous hit ‘Gee’ released earlier this year.

According to Hanteo, ‘Tell Me Your Wish’ has sold over 24K copies offline in just 2 days into its release. Back then with the song ‘Gee’, So Nyeo Shi Dae managed to sell over 23K copies only after 1 week into its release.

The girls are also hitting the 100K mark for all their 3 albums released, a sales volume that even the country’s best male idol group will find it hard to achieve.

It seems that the song ‘Tell Me Your Wish’ is gaining popularity faster than ‘Gee’, the song went up to realtime chart at #1 on the day of its release on 22nd June.

The song then went up to #6 immediately on 23rd June on music charts, ‘Gee’ had went up to #10 positions on music charts on first time back then. And right now the song is up #1 on various music charts, bringing back the So Nyeo syndrome.

Akon's Manila Concert Postponed

MANILA - The much-awaited comeback concert of international R&B artist Akon here has been moved to a later date reportedly due to influenza A(H1N1) virus.

Akon’s concert was originally slated on July 4 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City but “due to unforeseen circumstances” it has been moved to October 23. "SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon" reported that the organizers had been forced to postpone his concert due to H1N1.

In a taped message aired on SNN, the Senegalese-American singer-songwriter extended his apology to all his fans who already bought the tickets."

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our concert has been postponed for the 23rd of October. Make sure you will come and we apologize for the changes that we have to make but remember those tickets that were purchased are still valid for the concert. You can bring the same tickets to the concert on the 23rd of October. Thank you all and we will see you there," Akon said. In 2004, Akon became popular with the release of "Locked Up,” his first single from his debut album “Trouble.” His second album, “Konvicted,” earned him a Grammy Award nomination for the single "Smack That."

In his upcoming second concert, he is expected to sing his hits from his third album, “Freedom.” Filipino international performer Billy Crawford will be Akon’s special guest.

I am loving the whole techno style with this entire album. (Maybe they took the path because it's also huge in Japan). Uhm. The guys are just AMAZING. 'nuff said. Seriously, how can you not love them and find them completely awesome? Freestyling to this song is an aboslute must. && feel free to sing along, though I don't think anyone else can rock it like the guys can! The style for the MV just killed me. (In a good way)! I mean it just added to the whole techno effect. I just wish their weren't the 'back up' dancers, and that the whole MV just focused on the guys.

Aside from 2NE1 being 'Female Big Bang' which probably gained them most of their popularity in the beginning, they've proven they can do well and go far on their own (with their own identity)! A 'Magical' Time

So what did Kari do today? Hmm..

SHE TOOK HER FIRST TRIP TO DISNEYLAND! =D HONG KONG! WITH ZOEY!

Lol, it's actually my first trip to any Disneyland (unless you want to count that time I went to Disneyland Paris)! It was a very 'Magical' (as the MTR station would say) day! Zoey says it's because we're magical people. Which really can you deny? Zoey is magical in all good aspects and Kari is magically annoying & immature! :3

Highlights! Step by step! ^^

1) WENT IN THE WRONG DIRECTION

Maybe it's only us that have EVER done this. (Because we're magical)? But when we walked into Disneyland (off the MTR) we just followed a huge crowd of people, who we believed were entering the park early. We were WRONG. We followed them into a deep right turn through bushes (which now that I think about it why would they pick such a hard place for their customers to go into and follow?) and thought we were going the correct way. It wasn't until we reached an ID check that we realized we went the wrong way. We thought it was to gain admittance into the park. The man didn't tell us otherwise, as he thought we were tourist and wouldn't understand Chinese (since we kept speaking English) and just mumbled the entire time (I guess not being to confident in his English) and failed to tell us that the path we followed was a way for WORKERS ONLY to get ready for the park to open. So we of course were a little embarrassed at our mistake (but seriously it's a hilaroius first memory to have of Disney) but laughed mostly because of the guy who just kept speaking gibberish. :)

2) NOT REALIZING THE PARK OPENED @ 10

We had bought our tickets, which now we realize should bring a Hong Kong Citizen ID Card [or Student ID like Zoey] to get your ticket cheaper! And we had arrived at about 9 and didn't know the park opened at 10, so yeah, we had lots of time to kill. But on the way the BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT of our day was found! :3

3) STITCH & ANGEL HATS

We did take pics of these hats and us wearing them! (3 Lucky people shall recieve an autographed copy from Zoey & Kari! ;D) Originally we were just waiting around the front of the park looking at shopping carts. And DANG! Everything was so expensive. The Stitch & Angel hats Zoey found were $195 HK ($25 US). I first persuaded Zoey not to get the Angel one she really wanted, as it would be a waste of money that we could spend on food. (Which I kind of regret~). But we both ended up getting the hats. Zoey = Angel. Kari = Stitch. Were there any doubts in the choices? xD They are adorable and looks like they are eating our heads and we're giving them piggy back rides (on our heads)! (Well at least Stitch looks like he's eating my head xD;;)

4) RIDES! RIDES! && MORE RIDES!

In Order Of Best Rides:

1. Space Mountain - Mostly because we rode it 9 times without getting bored. It was the most fun ride out of the entire park as it was the ONLY rollercoaster! But seriously, the parts with going down (skipping a heartbeat) and the posing for pictures was something to look forward to in the ride! We rode in front twice, 2nd row 3 times, 3rd row 3 times, 4th row twice? (Wait..that'd make it 10 times we rode...Oh well, I forget exact numbers -fails at being Asian-) It was super fun even after we memorized the track! xD;; Making other people scream is funny, && I'm super proud of Zoey for getting over her short-lived fear! ;D

2. Buzz Lightyear - Fun shooting game that takes up time and you can get on really quickly! It's fun to check out your score and try and kill Zoey! ;D -shot- There was a moving Buzz Lighyear & Etch-A-Sketch you can see while lining up! (You are not the boss of me)! So this entire ride just plainly isn't boring, but after you know where to shoot, you're going to wish for something new.

3. Winnie The Pooh - This must've been the most adorable ride, in the history of amusement park rides! It tells the story of Pooh (which we really didn't listen too) but the effot people put into building these cute scenes that would pop out and you and make you admire the beauty is just amazing. It's pretty much a one time ride, but I highly recommend it as it is a MUST! (For girls)! Plus there's a cute picture you can take at the end! (As mentioned before 3 of them with our Stitch & Angel hats)!

5) FAST PASS!

Okay, I seriously wish we learned about fast passes earlier. But if we had, we probably wouldn't have killed as much time. (Unless we decided to ride Space Mountain & play Buzz Lightyear some more)! Fast pass is something you can get with your ticket, using machines located outside right next to the ride itself. The fast pass works within the hour of --:45 to --:45 (Ex: 3:45 - 4:45). It's great because you don't have to wait in line as long and reach the ride faster! But the problem is you can only hold one fast pass at a time. We had tried to cheat by getting both Buzz Lightyear & Space Mountain ones (which we didn't think was wrong at the time) but you can't have a fast pass for one ride, and then another. (As that would be unfair to other customers). Truthfully, the wait for rides (or at least Space Mountain) were durable, so we had gotten 2 fast passes to Buzz Lightyear and 1 to Space Mountain!

6) DRINKS

We only drank coke, and then Zoey bought herself a Fanta at Disneyland. OMG! Seriously, we should've snuck in our own drinks, because I swear we lost 10 pounds walking through that park, not eating anything, and barely having anything to drink for 9 whole hours!

7) PICTURES WITH THE CHARACTERS

We only did when we first entered the park to take a picture with Stitch. The line was very short, but the wait took forever, and it was in the burning sun. Not something I'd recommend considering we didn't even end up getting the picture not having enough time and finding it pointless. Though, I wish we got the people in costume's autographs! ;D

Really it was an amazing experience! :3 It was also Zoey's first time at Disneyland too! So even more fun! ^^ We got to experience all the fun of Disney together! x3 I guess we're juts magical (?) that way that we can have fun wherever together! xD (Because the rides at disney are really baby-ish). Love hanging out with this kid! :3 She is super awesome! ^0^ MTR ride was tiring after hanging out at the park all day. But at least Zoey will be able to say today was NOT boring! ;] ♥

NYC Boys Do Not Exist

So lyrics are still as cheesy as ever. && Excuse me? 'New York City Boys?' I still don't understand why it's so cool to make it big in America. (Well I do, but I still find it pointless). Anyways the performances overall was really nice to watch. Good to see 3 of my BOYS in the front on the floor, but then turn back into JE juniors suddenly. Seriously, where is the time for my BOYS? I'm not complaining of how this song is a Yamada & Chinen duet though. Another 2 our of 10 of my boys! Considering this basically is THEIR program and nYC Boys was all about them anyways it's nice to see. (But my BOYS need to shine now! I don't want them to remain in the background!) The people in the performance are Yamada, Chinen, Hokuto, Fuma, & Yuugo. Yuma, Kento, (& Shintaro) were busy filming for 'Vampire Boy' which seems to be a promising drama! I think I'll really enjoy it! (Especially Yuma's character, because seriously I'm falling for him OUTSIDE of JE. Inside JE he still stinks & I hate him!)

Okay, I'm not trying to be an anti or anything. But it's obvious a huge majority of us hate the idea of YUMA w/ B.I. Shadow because it just shines on ONE of it's members. If sales rank low for their debut CD, do you think Johnny's willl realize his mistake and change the idea when the next single comes around? Think about it! Buy the CD & show support! NYC Boys is a for sure buy because Yamada & Chinen are the main focused (They just put Yuma's name in there to try and make him more popular and plus they needed the 'New' in 'New York City') & I gotta show the love I got for my boys! But I can't say I'll buy Yuma w/ B.I. Shadow's because I hate the concept.

OMG MY BABY!

And this time I am not talking about Ryutaro. (Although I have to look out for him too♥) What is with people trying to hurt the poor youngest ones of groups? This time it takes place in Korea, SHINee's maknae TaeMin is said to be harrassed and abused in school. Netizens are not letting this go unoticed, and I'm sure everyone knows of the news by now. ..Today was rainy, so I was going to give up seeing Lee Taemin, but then the Taemin spy came in and told me “Noona, in 9 minutes, Taemin’s leaving” or something like that… So I ran like fire but it’s raining like crazy… But Lee Taemin has an umbrella. He also had a beanie in his other hand so my friend stuck to him and started talking to him when I was just taking pictures. Just then as he went to the gym he almost fell.. I’m a guy in my 3rd year of high school and this isn’t a lie. My friend at ChungDam high school told me it wasn’t up until physical group harassment.
But when he comes to school nearly 100 students cover his way and won’t let him pass and take pictures and stuff. When he tried to pass some say stuff like “you think you’re so big ’cause you’re a celebrity’ or ‘he’s not as tall as I imagined’ or ‘he’s not that handsome’ and a lot of other stuff.
And there’s another story everyone at the high school knows about the a time he was listening to classes and he ate lunch at the teacher’s lounge. So some delinquents from 2nd grade came and waited during lunch and when he came back and sat at his desk with his head down, they kicked his desk and said stuff like “hey, do we look like idiots to you? Do you think you’re so big because you’re a celebrity? **** Hey put your head up.” and etc. They throw erasers at him and swear at him and stuff. This is pretty well known around the school. Some other delinquents 3 girls keep following him and take pictures and annoy him. They keep following him and trying to hold his hand and stuff.

Treating people this way in general is completely unacceptable, whether or not they are idols. I hope people learn the meaning of 'personal space' and leave these more people alone. TaeMin♥! We're all here for you!♥

矮仔多情 (Short Of Love) is a Hong Kong film that was released on June 26, 2009.

The Basic Synopsis:
Wong Cholam plays a very wealthy and intelligent (w/ computers & stocks) man. He constantly cheats and plays with girls and can not stay faithful at any moment. Ella Koon plays his secretary, who basically just reminds him of news (of his stocks) and meetings he must attend. Due to an incident, the public suddenly think that he is no longer wealthy (except in reality he is still filthy rich) and he is left alone by all those who only wanted to be associated with him because of his money. Due to depression he drinks and ends up on the streets of a town where he meets Angel played by Angelababy. She appears only a few times to remind him that true happiness is found when you do good things for others and not from money. Along the way of the film, he still can not stay faithful and 'falls in love' with 3 different girls, (played by Race Wong, JJ, & Kate Tsui) one after the other with different personalites and problems. Lynn Hsiung, only makes a cameo appearance at the end of the film.

Kari's Review:

Definately a great movie to watch if you're just looking for a good laugh. The plot isn't too deep, just a bunch of random situations, and the ending just leaves you to giggle some more. Wong Cholam is as funny as ever, playing the role extremely well. As for the rest of the cast who were able to play their roles amazingly well, which really makes up the film. Though it overall seems like a Romantic Comedy, let's just leave it as Comedy with a bit more of Comedy. (:

Personal comments: Congrats to everyone! I love a majority of these idols! (I admit, I don't know all of them ^^;;) Mayday continues to recieve tons of love! Yay, I understand many fans are giving them a big applaud for winning 'Best Band'! Biggest congratulations to Jay Chou for picking up the most awards, though he himself, did not attend. He is one of my major idols and inspirations. I know there's going to be quite the bashing from some people that don't appreciate him about what he had said earlier before the day of the awards. Nevertheless, he proved through his talent and fans that he truly does deserve to be on top. Also because many K-Pop lovers visit this blog. Super Junior did attend the awards, though did not win anything. Can't say I expected them to, since they are oversea idols that are just trying to spread the Super Junior (M) love to China & Taiwan. Their performance at the awards was still amazing though! Once again, congrats to all of the artists!

SM FTW!

SHINee wins Mutinez once again with their hit single 'Julliette'! While taking in the fact that they won again, they never forget to mention their how thankful they are of SM & Onew mentions 'Genie' && Key mentions 'Song for HIS So Nyuh Shi Dae'! I am seriously loving all this SM Family Love♥! (Recall Super Junior comforting their SHINee dongsaengs with their first win with 'Julliette'?) SM FTW♥!

This led to more fans of SM as a whole. Many times people will only love so many groups from this company and dislike others. But now, people are starting to understand more and more that companies (every part of it) is a family. They all get along with each other and (love each other) are great friends. I'm sure most every company has this lovely feeling between their clients!

Onew's Accident Will Not Go Unoticed!

As shown in the photo is SHINee Onew being carried away by his manager after fainting during the filming of KBS Music Bank on 26th June.

The accident happened during the filming that the light fixture at the show had felt, and Onew had fainted due to shock from it even though he did not suffer from major injuries.

He was hospitalised but discharged again, reportedly back to his normal healthy state, and he also performed with SHINee members for MBC Music Core on 27th June. But fans still want an apology from KBS Music Bank for causing the accident.

Fans are demanding for an apology by flooding up Music Bank’s noticeboard. But there are up till now no response from KBS side.

I'm sure you've all heard of this news (for those of you who are K-Pop fans) without me having to post this. This was huge news to all fans of different groups. It puts into question how safe the stages truly are. And if not, fans are going to go into overprotection mode. & All this because Onew wanted to congratulate 9 of his nunas. Wonder Girls Hit Up Portlan, Oregon

With the Jonas Brothers they had their first concert performance in Portland, Oregon. The only fancams I could find were of their performances of 'Tell Me' & 'Nobody'. Uhm. Yeah~

Sorry to say, but weak performances. I mean, WG is amazing! But these performances didn't impress me. (Maybe because I've seen even more oustanding performances they've done before)? So Jonas Brothers fans can care less about WG. Can't blame them. If you bought a ticket to a concert who's main act was Super Junior and they put some random out of country artist that you didn't know about as the opening act, you can't say that you'd jump around like crazy and fan chant for them. So really, WG is off to a 'eh' start. Not getting much except from fans that already knew who they were in Korea and brought fancams. I'm not a hater, just speaking the truth. Hope to see them progress more in America♥

Of course with SoHee being immensely popular in Korea, they'll try and push her cuteness to rule over America. But America doesn't want SoHee. Admit it, to us Americans, cuteness can only go so far without people thinking that person is fake and is actually doing drugs and drinking behind it all. The war of the Korean girl groups is completely inevitable. All we be in it except for Wonder Girls who continue to try and make it in America. KARA announces that they will return what's thought to be late July to join in the battle for best girl group. Supposing that they'll return with what they think is 'Rock Style' we'll see if that even close enough to face off with the other girl groups.

More Teasing With The English Version of Nobody

Wonder Girls' will make official debut on June 27th! I'd really love to see how far they get in America, but I don't have much expectation for them since pretty much no girl group has ever survived in America. Unless you want to consider the Pussycat Dolls. & Personally, I'm just not feeling the english version. They should stick with Korean. Even YooBin's rapping skill can't make me fall in love with this version. The only part I enjoy are the lyrics that remained the same at the end of the teaser and the cool whisper of 'Saranghae'.

Big Bang 'Sudden Attack'

New photo to Big Bang endorsing and appearing for game ‘Sudden Attack’ has been revealed.

The Big Bang members were dressed in the uniforms for special troops, and can be seen with a different type of charm and feel. Especially for TaeYang with his short hair and sunglasses, he looked ever more like the special troop commando.

Big Bang members have recorded and filmed for over 80 over sounds and clips for the game ‘Sudden Attack’ ad lib special version.Big Bang members said, “We are very excited for the fact that we are going to be used as characters in the game.”

ARASHI 10th Anniversary Celebration Concert

Pop group Arashi are to be the first ever artists to play three consecutive shows at the National Stadium. Yesterday's announcement came together with news of the August 19 release of the hits album "All the Best! 1999-2009." The Johnny's Jimusho group are celebrating their 10th anniversary and the album will contain all 26 of their singles (plus 5 double-A sides). Shortly after the album goes on sale, they will play three nights at the National Stadium on August 28-30. Last year Arashi became only the third musical act to perform a solo show there (the others were SMAP in 2005-06 and Dreams Come True in 2007). From the autumn they will embark on a concert tour of Japan's five major domes.

They're Coming Back!

Hooray! Everyone jump for joy as some of your favorite artists will return later this year!

First up is none other than SM's CSJH The Gracem also known as TSZX, preparing for the comeback for the later half of the year! I don't know where they've been this entire time, but I'm definately looking forward to their comeback! The exact date, well sadly, there isn't one as SM is trying to negotiate a proper date for the 4 to return. But worry not! They will be back!

Next is Asia's #1 artist. Oh, please I'm sure you know this person. None other than the genius music artist himself! Jay Chou! After a year away Jay Chou is coming again! Yesterday, writing sensation Jay Chou appeared at Chongqing to promote a certain brand of beverage, he was also there to meet "up close" with 3000 fans at the Jiangnan stadium. It's rumored he'll fully return the later half of this year or early 2010. We're all awaiting your comeback!

Last is the obvious and most anticipated Korean comeback ever. Korea's current leading girl gorup SNSD! Who will return with their album on the 29th. They're new MV 'Tell Me Your Wish: Genie' has just been released! Check it out!

Charlene Choi Refuses To Get Botox

Yesterday Charlene Choi (Ah Sa) appeared as the "Happy Angel" for a clothing brand catwalk show event. Not only did she teach the kids how to pose on the catwalk but also taught the foreign CEO Cantonese phrases. As to Gillian Chung using botox shots to make her legs thinner, Ah Sa said she had no intentions to do this herself. "Currently I don't have the urge to do this and don't think it's necessary". (Does that mean Gillian needs to have it done?) "She is a spokesperson and has always wanted to improve the shape of her legs. I did ask her whether it was it was painful but most important is that she is happy".

During the event, the host asked her which 3 things made her most happy this year? She said "The first thing is going to Denmark to shoot an advertisement. The second is using my own name to release an album". As for the third, she stated that it was meeting her idol Clive Owen at the Shanghai Film Festival earlier. "When I saw him I couldn't believe my eyes. When we took photos together I felt very happy. My heart never felt my heart beat so fast!". The reporter asked if her heart will beat just as fast when she is with rumored boyfriend Ronald Cheng? She smiled and didn't answer the question.

So for those of you who were worried Ah Sa would also get botox don't worry! Even though my once favorite member of 'Twins' did it, doesn't mean the other doesn't have good morals to follow. Loving them both, but Ah Sa makes such a better role model♥

Wonder Boys of 2008 Will Become Boys Generation for 2009

Girls' Generation / SNSD's highly anticipated return isn't the only thing stirring up interest on the upcoming mid-year June 26th Music Bank extravaganza. Members from the boy groups 2PM, 2AM, Super Junior, and SHINee will come together as Boys Generation and perform "Gee."

So far, the rumored boys will be, From Super Junior: Yesung, Shindong, and Sungmin. From 2PM: Jaebum, Nickhun, and Taecyeon. From 2AM: Jo Kwon. No word on which SHINee boys will be included to finish the 9 member lineup.

That's not the only big news for this Music Bank extravaganza, SHINee and Girls' Generation will pay homage to former SM Entertainment groups H.O.T. and S.E.S. by performing one of their old songs, while 2PM will do the same performing a song by former JYP Entertainment group G.o.d. Popular rookie group 2NE1 will also do a cover of Rihanna's "Umbrella."

Skinny Gillian Aims To Be Weightless For Comeback

Gillian Chung gets 40 Botox shots on legs to lose weight

It is Gillian Chung (Ah Gil) first time appearing on stage since her comeback, soon she will be in a 6 show musical starting from August 27. She will be partnering with many vetern stage actors such as Phoebe Chan and Siu Mei Kwan, EEG also invested a 6 figure sum on buying the Broadway stage hall for the musical "Star Dad" (星爸亞爸). Since her comeback, her first work is stage productions and these opportunities cannot be missed, Ah Gil had several Botox shots on her arms and legs to make herself thinner.

Yesterday Ah Gil attended the press conference and expressed that first time doing a stage production, she has a lot of pressure, you have to know the script very well and cannot NG. Ah Gil plays a girl who grew up overseas, then will she have to speak a lot of English? She said: "I will develop a personality for my role, the character often goes to the Chinatown in Canada, so won't need to speak all English, just a few English words here and there."

Yesterday it was seen that Ah Gil's arms and legs had lost a lot of weight, she frankly said that she earned a 7 figure sum to sign with Dr. Pro as their spokesperson. She got Botox shots on her arms and legs to get thinner and later will also accept hair removal on her legs as part of the treatment: "I already did the Botox shots for several weeks, I don't even know how many shots I had on my arms, I don't dare to look, I just told the workers there to hurry and finish the shots. I got 20 shots on each leg, will get shots again in 6 months."

Botox has been seen as plastic surgery, but Ah Gil felt that shots on the arms and legs are not a problem. She definitely will not accept shots on her face and do plastic surgery: "The most important thing is to be able to lose weight, since I've entered the industry people have said that I had rough legs, when I was studying I didn't feel that it was a problem, until I started working, I realized that it could be a huge affect. In the past, when I wore boots, I couldn't zip up the zipper." Asked if her legs had gotten much thinner? Ah Gil happily said: "It got so much thinner, actually I just started getting the shots two weeks ago, I will be getting them for another few weeks, some of my colleagues have told me that I really gotten thinner. My goal is the more thin I am, the better. If it was only a little affect, then my stockings might get out of place.

"No need for breast enhancements

Ah Gil's manager Mani Fok expressed that she helped signed Ah Gil for endorsement work mainly because she doesn't want her to have any concerns when she appears in the stage performance: "Before Ah Gil often wore trousers or boots, I do not want the Artistic Director to feel that Ah Gil is trying to pick out the costumes she wants to wear, instead of wearing what is prepared. Also Western girls often don't wear trousers and long pants." Ah Gil currently doesn't have any concerns that she'll be called a short dress shortie? Mani laughed: "Currently she can only wear dresses that reveal some of her legs, it will soon prove that Botox shots on legs and arms are 100% safe, so she stopped getting shots on her thighs." Asked if she will get breast enhancements? Mani said that Ah Gil does not need to, Ah Gil immediately said: "I have enough!"

The entire problem here is that Gillian wasn't even fat to begin with! Getting paid to lose weight can only get you repsect if you diet the right way. Getting botox was defniately not the way to go, but at least she admitted it. Not the best news to make fans get excited for her comeback.

Kari's Love For Murder

In movies and dramas! I've always had a love for the murder and crime scenes in dramas because it always kept a great distance from any cheese. And that just makes me smile. I love dramas that focus on real problems in life and can teach us all something we can and should understand.

The following film and drama I am about to recommend to you are those that begin by a murder case but focus more on the families of both those of the murder victim, and the murderer themselves. Each take you into depth analysis of how the victim's family will suffer and fall into depression, as they must gradually learn to continue on with their lives and resist the urge of revenge, though they can not find a way to ever forgive those who took the life away from their loved one. & Also deep into those who are related to those of the murderer and how they suffer from the paprazzi that will never leave them alone. As although they did not cause the murder, the fact that they're related will cause it to follow them for the rest of their lives, and the majority of people see fit that the family die along with the murderer in order to compensate for the victim's death. They show you & teach you what it truly means to be a strong person and and why family is what you truly have in the end.

Synopsis:

Through these two protagonists’ eyes, we get a glimpse into the vulnerability, the isolation and even the resilience of the individual when up against a volatile and often intolerant world.

Kari: I originally first saw this on my flight to Japan. I had no idea Shida Mirai starred in it before watching it! (& Seriously this helped prove how amazing an actress she is)! It took a while for me to really get into the whole plot, but the things you see in the beginning become important symbols throughout the entire movie. It's 118 minutes, a tad bit under 2 hours. But really, after getting into it I didn't want it to end. This is the biggest step away from cheese you'll ever see. It really makes it seem as if it were a true story. The paparazzi that I've always hated and found annoying and proved to be nothing but what causes all the trouble in this movie. Trust is a huge part of this, as you can never know you or what to trust or who to believe in. This made me really open my eyes to the family of murderers. To a majority of people the families of murderers should die along with their relative that commited the crime. To me, the person who commited the murder should compensate on their own. But because the movie focuses on what happens when a juvenile commits a murder, the whole family must suffer for his terrible action.

Satsuki, as mother of the perpetrator, comes face-to-face with her son’s true self while Seiko, as mother of the victim, deals with her sorrow and anger.

Kari: Okay, I admit at first I only saw this because Umika was starring in it and Monkey Majik's 'Aishiteru' sang for it. But! Once I saw it, seriously I got so hooked. I'm only on episode 4 because DramaCrazy is still subbing it. (There are 10 episodes in all). This'll make you shed tears and make you feel complete catharsis. It shows how the victim's family tries to move on, grow, and learn since the death of their beloved family member. Also how they may feel the need for revenge, and blame the murderer's family for everything, wanting them to compensate, and find them unforgivable after such a deed. While the murderer's family on the other hand, will open your eyes to just how much they suffer as well. Wanting to apologize, and keep on doing their best which is extremely hard considering the family themselves seem to not know much about eachother. The fact that the person in the family who commits the murder (is again like the movie above) is a juvenile, the whole family is pulled in and will get haunted by this action for the rest of their lives as the majority will continue to harrass them and never leave them alone until death.

Hey! Say! JUMP Is Replaced By Yuma w/ B.I. Shadow

Okay, so this isn't recent news. As we've all heard NYC Boys will be performing the image song for support the Japanese team for volleyball. But from my own persanal understanding, back in March it was announced that Hey! Say! JUMP would be the ones to support the team. I guess they just meant Yamada Ryosuke & Chinen Yuuri? Even though they showed all 10 of my boys on the news?

Don't take this literally, and try and understand, I'm just going to guess that Hey! Say! JUMP is on indefinate hiatus from the group itself. (Since they haven't done much in 2009 except for their Spring Tour which was amazing♥). But just watching one concert with my boys in it won't satisfy my need for the entire year. They are currently doing personal and other working activities. So I guess they can't be recording a new single or anything like that. (Which is sad because it's almost a year since their last single [in October 2008]) But I need my boys♥ Can't wait for July for the Shounen Club episodes! I'm hoping that they're pulling an SNSD, where as a group they're gone (which they have been) for relatively a little shorter than a year, and then comeback with non-stop promotion (not literally, because they'll obviously get tired but a week of promotion isn't too much to ask for) and blow us all away with their new single that will top the charts.

Ah~ My boys where are you? At this rate NYC Boys will take over the younger generation with Hey! Say! JUMP's absence!
(Well Yuma will anyways. He's obviously popular having already starred in 2 dramas and now being the head star for the new JE group). I at least need My BOYS if Yuma w/ B.I. Shadow will take over for the rest of 2009.

4Minute Are Now Models!

Debuted just a week back, 5-member group 4Minute gets signed on for modelling for clothing brand TBJ.

Their company said, “We received a hundred million KRW worth proposal for the girls to do modelling. We see that the girls will have other great opportunities in the future. TBJ has made a contract with us seeing that the girls, as one of the best newcomers, has the potential to become bigger.”

After their debut, the girls’ debut song ‘Hot Issue’ is #1 up on various music charts and weekly charts, receiving overwhelming responses from music fans.

Big Bang Shows Their Japanese Home To Fans

On the 24th June, the boys released their debut single ‘My Heaven’ and in the morning they also appeared on Mezamashi TV program. On the program, Big Bang was introduced as ‘Korea’s Best Aritste’ and they also talked about the group’s debut single just released.

On the show, they also revealed Big Bang’s dormitory in Japan. TaeYang, “This is the first time we are revealing our dormitory on TV.” feeling a little embarrassed. In the apartment, many CD, comics, figurines etc can be seen.

This is without subtitles for now, but that won't stop me from watching my favorite girls! Let's see if the show deserves good ratings or not! Babies are adorable♥! New SNSD Pitctures Released!

SNSD has just released their new pictures due to recent controversy of their past marine style.

The marine style still tries to stay in effect, but the only part of the style that remained were the hats. The rest of the outfits resulted in being casual clothing, which is not at all necessarily a bad thing. As it shows our girls can go casual and still rock it, without getting all dressed up in sailor sutis.

Obviously the controversy which led to the postponage of their new Mini Album: Genie caused S♥ne fans to distress. Hopefully Netizens will lay off their new pictures, as they seem casual and fun!

You know my love for the style, I'm sure. I've freestyled to the song (and it's only 10 in the morning?) already. The entire album I'm sure will rock. I think I might go out and buy it! For the awesome songs and for the amazing BB Boys♥

So today I hung out with YouTube people Aura & Zoey during my trip in Hong Kong. And I have to say they are even more awesome in person! ^^ And online they are already pretty damn awesome! >] (FYI BOTH ARE COMPLETE STICKS! People were wondering why they were hanging out with a fatty!)

The two were nice enough to take me around MK ;D Poo Resturant, JE Shopping, && Purikura! So Much Fun!~ x3 The Modern Toilet Poo Resturant was an amazing experience. You sit on toilets and eat out of a toilet (or other bathroom appliance)! xD It sounds hilarious and gross, but really you would not want to pass up an oppurtunity to hang out in this place! Zoey did take pics & I'll try and steal later~ Zoey & I actually ended up ordering poo shaped chocolate ice cream. (Which is actually chocolate flavored ice~ Not as yummy as you think). Aura watched in complete amusement and recorded a short clip of us playing with our poo. Lol I'll bug her to upload the clip later! x3 && It's super fun, to watch people try and go to the wrong bathroom! :]



As far as JE shopping goes THANK YOU AURA && ZOEY!!! for putting up with me and my annoyingness to buy cheap HSJ CDs xD;; Aura definately knows where all the hottest and latest JE stuff is! ;] From Magazines, to Posters, Picutres, to CDs, etc. Thank to her Zoey was able to find her life's treasure! Lol that's right! A huge poster of KAT-TUN's Akanishi Jin! xD (Who Aura & I have raped a countless number of times! xDD) Aura I don't recall getting anything which sucks~ She showed her love for Anime CDs, H!P Stuff (w/ Zoey), & Vocaloid CDs! Anti-ness Isn't Prejudice Against Groups

Ironically, right after I posted my anti rant. I found forums where Hey! Say! JUMP fans JUST realized that HSJ themselves have haters.

Well what do you expect? No one can be loved by everyone! Not even my boys<3

Reasons (Apparently):

-They're too young!

Kari: Uhm. People with talent shouldn't be limited to being adults to debut. & Ironically I noticed many of HSJ haters love the 'older' JE groups and fyi they made their debut when they were teenagers as well.

-They don't have talent!

Kari: I beg to differ. Whether or not I'm a fan, I'm a big enough person to admit whether or not a person/group has talent. & all of JE definately has it. They don't just get their own stage for no reason you know? Johnny is a genius for a reason. I'm sure people who have seen their performances will agree. If not all at least the majority has talent.

Kari: What? Excuse me, but no one forced you to watch HSJ and fall for them. The idea of a group to debut at a younger age was an obvious tactic to get more fans of the younger generation. & you can't exactly say it failed. If they get older fans, that's not at all a problem! More love for them!

There's more stupid reasoning to continue with. & All groups have them. They don't have any good reason. They just try to hide the fact they have nothing better to do than stare at the people they 'hate' and try to bash them out. Sorry, but you people obviously FAIL.

SNSD Controversy Causes Back Up

Due to the Controversy over SNSD's Album cover for their highly anticipated mini-album, SM Entertainment have postponed its release to the 29th of June.

SM Entertainment said "We used military icons on album cover, however it was interpreted and understood in a way we didn't expected. So we are planning to delete the part and put an icon of Korean supersonic jet T-50.

Obviously Netizens have too much time on their hands to try and analyze the picture until they found a way to try and destroy SNSD. ANTIS FAIL. Seriously I never understood the concept of hating on a group or being antis. (Excuse the upcoming rant). SNSD is obviously not to blame, as it is the person/people that made the cover.

SNSD will still perform their 2nd comeback this Friday on Music Bank & their song 'Etude' will still be released on June 25th online. While the rest of the album will now be released on June 29th.

Onto my gayness of the antis rant! Any anti of any group! NO LIFE. Stop hating on groups. Your just making youself look bad. No problem with your own opinion, but no need to try so hard to make a group disband and look so bad that they'll never be able to leave their house. (Which we know hardcore antis attempt to do). I never understood the antis point. They say make it obvious that they hate *insert group name here* so that the company will notice and cause the group to disband and disappear completely. But if you've noticed, these groups of antis have to keep up with *insert group name here*'s stuff.

For example! The cover controversy with SNSD! The Netizens obviously wanted to make SNSD look bad. But they're only getting SNSD more attention. I mean, of course people will get angry at the design but your just giving SNSD more and more attention. And isn't that what the idol world is all about? As long as they get attention.

Antis always watch the lateset (or re-watch) radio show, interviews, etc. despite hating the group. Just to find something bad, but your still giving the show ratings just by watching. & Talking about them, getting them more noticed. Well great job! The group you hate will never go away that way! As there are antis there are always much more fans. Fans will always stay dedicated to the group and protect them. Antis are just wasting their time.

Okay, I'm seriously loving the PVs. Pretty much not too much motion in the Yuma w/ B.I. Shadow one but seriously, that's what got me. I thought it's so basic, yet it just pulls you in. & It's not just because the camera focuses on the other boys too! [<3]>

Sad thing. I might be falling for Yuma. BUT definately NOT in Yuma w/ B.I. Shadow. I have a complete hate towards people who are camwhores and get the complete focus on them when the whole group should be admired. But seeing that preview of Vampire Boy. I got a little into fangirl mode and my heart went 'doki!' for Yuma's vampire form. Hot. So I guess Yuma in dramas (and maybe backstage if he doesn't get too much film time) will completely get me. But on stage, he's got all my hate! (:

@The PV: It's super refreshing to just see the guys being featured in their own PV. I'm kind of tired of the sad love story where the guy loses his girl to someone else and the girl happily marries another guy.

@The Performance: You can never expect less from DBSK. They always perform amazingly live. Ballads deserve way more props than they get. DBSK's Japanese singles 'Doushite Kimi wo Suki ni natte Shimattandarou' & 'Stand By U' to reach the top of Japanese charts and not being a pop, up-beat song is great. We need more variety up on these charts. And who better to bring it than the TVXQ guys themselves?

Hello! Project Continues It Failure

On June 22nd Tsunku announced the winner of the Korean auditions for Hello! Project. Tsunku confirmed that 14-year-old Jang Dayun is the winner of the Korean Hello!Project audition "Meet Tokyo Girl", which was also chronicled on a weekly TV show. Tsunku himself appeared on stage at the Berryz Koubou concert in Korea to deliver the news.

So of course once again Tsunku picked a tall, skinny, and young contestant. Surprised? Well you shouldn't be. There is no news of what she'll actually be doing in Hello! Project yet. And there are thoughts that Tsunku will pick other Korean auditionees to go back to Japan with him as well.

As you can see, she was picked for looks. Nothing else. But I can't say I expected much from Tsunku's decision. At first I thought the same thing as you. She has no talent, I'm sure there were many other contestants worthy of winning. But when I saw them perform at the concert live. Oh my gosh. None of them could perform live. Barely keeping up choreography & vocals were aboslutely dead. Talk about tone deaf! In my personal opinion, none of them should've even made it on the show. No one should have to suffer watching that show weekly.

So my thoughts are that if Tsunku ends up bringing more of those Korean trainees they'll all end up as eggs. But with Jang Dayun being oh so special, it's rumored that she'll be part of the new generation of Morning Musume. Just as JunJun & LinLin were 'exchange students'. It is also possible that she may be the leader in a new group with fellow Korean members if they are chosen to join Hello! Project. Just as Ice Creamusume had. But I have to say, Ice Creamusume may have haters but I think they are doing much better than the Korean group may ever achieve with these members.

Jay Chou Expecting Too Much?

This year’s Golden Melody Awards is slated for show this Saturday, the 27th of June, and Jay Chou who garnered the most nominations, has been confirmed to be absent from the ceremony, igniting much debate. When he appeared for an event in Mainland China on the 20th, he straightforwardly expressed that “If the Golden Melody Awards are fair, I’ll win awards without even having to be there.”

With the ceremony approaching, almost all of the A-lister stars have been confirming their no-shows, and Jay Chou who has been nominated for eight of the major awards is also not turning up. This has led ceremony host Matilda Tao to exasperatedly say, “Even the one with the most nominations isn’t coming, I really can’t see the passion of our musicians here”, seemingly implying that these singers are too focused on earning money, thus ignoring the state of the music industry back home.

Jay Chou also responded to this during his event on the 20th, stating that he wants to attend the ceremony personally, “But once the contract’s signed, I can’t breach it, so my absence is definitely not because I want to earn money.”

Apart from this, Chairman Chou (周董), who has once criticized the Awards for not being fair enough, also remarked that if everything is fair and just, he will still win despite not turning up. When asked about the ongoing debate by netizens and fans alike, he stayed true to his cool personality and commented that “Fans’ support are the most important to me.”

Jay Chou sound cocky to you? Not to me. And no, it's not just because I'm a huge fan. I mean seriously. If you know Jay Chou (and how would you not?) you know he wins over 20 music awards every single year. The man is simply a performing arts genius. Is there really any doubt that he'll win almost every category he's been nominated in?
Jay Chou works extremely hard for his music, I'm sure we ourselves can't even begin to comprehend how hard. Jay Chou keep on doing what your doing! I support you & really hope you'll get what you deserve! I understand that he's simply stating that stars who do not attend the awards, usually do not get it, only because they do not show up, even though they truly won it. He's speaking up for all his fellow stars, but of course in his answers he only speaks for himself. He understands he can't just pull everyone else into his answer, as that'd be rude. He's not arrogant. Just speaking the truth.

New female duo group Navid, consisting of member SoYeon who has also done several musicals like ‘Fame’ and ‘Chris’, is set to debut.

They will release their 1st album ‘One Day’ with the title song ‘Shake your boby’ which is a power dance song.

Other songs from their 1st album is 4th track ‘Bad Woman’ with an addictive rhythm, 9th track ‘Why’ which talks about the sadness that SoYeon has been through the day she broke up with her boyfriend. This album also have Red, NRG etc as the composers to the song ‘Hurt the ankle’.

Meanwhile Navid will start promoting on radio shows from 24th June.

Best of luck to them! I've come to understand that they'll mostly be focusing on the power of their vocals. Which really, is something I'm relieved to here. FT Island Will Tour Asia!

FT Island will invade Asia this summer! From June 25th -27th they will be in Singapore. & Then travel to other countries, including: Japan, Thailand, China & Taiwan!

They also plan to release their third album the end of this summer in August!

FT Island, “We are really happy for them to come find us. We are very excited about meeting our overseas fans, we want the name FT Island to be known not only in Korea but also in other countries.”

F.T. Island is no doubt the most jjang band in all of Korea. (For Me<3)

B.I. Shadow Without Yuma! (Yay!) or Kento! (No!)

On School Kakumei's latest performance the 3 HSJ members & 3 B.I. Shadow members, Fuma, Hokuto, & Yuugo performed Akuma no Koi. Without Yuma you can not how amazingly happy I was. I was squealing and clapping to myself. But without Kento, it's just not the same. I need my daily Nakajima (Kento) dose! But with Fuma & Hokuto there, I was still extremely happy. With no Yuma or Kento (or Shintaro!) I was super excited to find out who would get the solos!

First off. Yuugo, you are starting to get my props. I always thought he was a cutie, but he's really starting to get into the whole idol thing. I mean getting more comfortable. I'm starting to accept him more and more! Loving the solos. No complaints. But if the HSJ members are gonna get the solos (which I'm sure everyone presumed) why did my baby brother not get one? SNSD Begins Their Take Over [Again!]

SNSD had just released the full mp3 of their newest single Tell Me Your Wish: Genie this morning June 22nd @ 10:00 AM. & Once it was released many fans already distributed it all over the internet and the popularity is beyond believable. It is definately the song they needed to defeat newcomers 2NE1 & 4Minute.

The song proved to be the continuation of SNSD's complete takeover as Genie has already been placed as #1 on online chart and #1 on music charts. Less than even 10 (maybe even 5!?) hours the song has already attacked everyone's hearts. Everyone seems to love and enjoy the song and our girls!

T-ara Will Debut With 6 Members

Newcomer girl group T-ara will reveal their newest members on July 7th.

After the revealing of the 5 members end-April, 2 members JiWon and JiAe had left the group, leaving it with just 3 members.
But it is said that the group will debut officially as 6 members. The known members are JiYeon, BoRam, HyoMin and Eun Jung. The yet-to-be-revealed 2 members are said to have the looks and also vocal capabilities like the rest of the members. And they are said to be also moving into more acting activities like JiYeon in the future.

4Minute's Car Attacked & Belongings Stolen

It has been known that group 4Minute’s car has been damaged together with their belongings stolen.

PlayCube Entertainment said on the 22nd, “On the morning of 21st June, the girls’ van parked near their practice rooms in Cheong Dam Dong has its rear window damaged and the girls’ belongings stolent. There were traces that the car was searched, and a video camera containing videos of the girls’ activities was stolen. We have already reported this to the police.”

Is this the doing of a 4Minute fan, or is it done by their anti-fan is still unclear. Just 1 week into their debut and they have already have their belongings stolen and properties damage, it seems that they are really making ‘Hot Issue’s. A representative said, “Who did it and why, we will investigate into it.”


For me, why would you do that? If this was a fan (which I'm sure it wasn't) why would you damage your idol's car? Does that make sense? 4Minute just debuted, if this was the work of an anti then WTF? They do NOT deserve this kind of treament!
